Over radiant heat
Ceramic and stone move heat better than any other common floor, which suits a heated bath.
Getting the base right
Tile only lasts on a flat, solid base, so the subfloor or slab is checked before any layout lines go down. Old vinyl or damaged underlayment comes up first. With driveway access, material is staged once instead of carried in piecemeal. Glazed tile needs little more than sweeping and mopping afterward.
