Floors that hold up
For high-traffic stores, a harder surface near the entrance and a durable finish elsewhere keep the floor looking good between refreshes. Mid-tone colors hide scuffs better than very light or very dark ones. Where water comes in from the street in winter, a water-resistant floor near the door makes sense.
